Title Of Project: Study of Arsenic, Selenium, Mercury and Molybdenum in Rural and Urban New Orleans
Focus:

An extension of the study done for the first 10-year EHSTRP project. It seeks to evaluate the amounts and distribution of arsenic, selenium, mercury, and molybdenum in urban and rural New Orleans.
Specific Aim: Increase community awareness of potential exposure to As, Se, Hg, & Mo, and the overall accumulation of chemical mixtures in the environment to assists with improving the state of knowledge, the condition of the immediate environment, and increase demand for increasing the margin of safety for areas where children play.
