The Foundation accepts contributions and other funding to:
promote and support research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge and treatment of diseases, disabilities and adverse health problems that disproportionately or differentially affect minority populations.
support efforts that improve the quality and availability of health care to black and other minority and under-served populations.
further public education to prevent health problems and promote healthy lifestyles among to black and other minority and under-served populations.
identify and facilitate new directions in the area of minority health by supporting scholarly exchange of scientific and clinical knowledge.
facilitate an increase in the representation and recognition of blacks and other under-represented minorities in the health professions of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and veterinary medicine.
