Thank you for visiting the Association of Minority Health Professions Schools (AMHPS) website and for reviewing the AMHPS’s Privacy Policy. The Association of Minority Health Professions Schools is committed to protecting your privacy throughout our organization. This notice explains AMHPS online information collection and use practices. We do collect general statistical information about visitors to our site for the sole purpose of facilitating communication, conducting business between the AMHPS and users of our site, and for improving AMHPS services and procedures.

Personal information is requested for certain online activities:
• Program applications
• Registration
• Registration/Exhibit Fees
• Requests- email through “contact us”
• Contributions- if you choose to donate to our organization, we maintain a record of your contribution. Credit card numbers are held only until the charge can be processed, then the number is only available to the Department of Finance for the purpose of problem resolution
• Surveys/Questionnaires
Data Use

We limit the use of information provided to us on our website to the following:

Internal use
1. If you do not complete a form or request giving the AMHPS information to identify yourself then we will have no personally identifiable information about you. We will only use aggregate information derived in part, from your use of our site to improve our site and services to you.
2. If you provide personal information, we may enter your name into our participant database and contact you in order to:
a. Provide notification of acceptance or rejection to AMHPS programs
b. Requests for additional information to assist in the review of an application for an AMHPS program
c. Complete voluntary surveys seeking feedback for quality and service improvement.
d. Supply you with information about AMHPS programs and activities
e. Request your participation in an AMHPS evaluation study.
3. We collect the email addresses of those who communicate with us by email. Inquiries may be forwarded to the appropriate AMHPS department for response and may be entered into our participant database. If your name is entered into our database, we may contact you (see (2) above).
4. If an email message to AMHPS is sent or a questionnaire, form or other online survey found on the AMHPS website is completed, AMHPS will maintain the information in accordance with applicable federal law.

External use
AMHPS occasionally will hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf. We will only provide those companies the information they need to deliver the service and prohibit them from using that information for any other purpose.

Children
The AMHPS does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce our Privacy Policy by instructing their children to never provide information on this Site without their permission.
