What Is The Synbiotic 365 Supplement?

Synbiotic 365 supplement is one of a kind blend of essential vitamins, probiotics, and prebiotics. This supplement, when taken regularly, claims to improve cognitive abilities and also promote a healthy gut flora. As such it claims to help eliminate various illnesses and improve the overall health of the consumer.

Why Use Synbiotic 365?

The gut is responsible for the release of some important hormones that are crucial for the functioning of the body. When the gut flora is disturbed, there is a disruption in the release of these hormones, which then adversely affects the entire body.

According to some research a healthy gut flora can promote better immunity, improved cognitive functioning, better regulation of the blood glucose levels, and even a potential drop in obesity.

Gut bacteria can be maintained either by eating the right kinds of foods daily or by simple supplementation. Both sources help to improve the overall health and quality of the gut’s microbiome.

Other than probiotics, the Synbiotic 365 is also enriched with prebiotics. These are specific ingredients that the gut’s bacteria utilize for energy and maintenance. Other than this, prebiotics can also regulate bowel function and increase the absorption of nutrients into the body.

These supplements can be especially useful for people suffering from disorders such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), bowel irregularities, obesity, and even diabetes.

PLEASE NOTE: Always consult your doctor before trying any new supplement. This is especially important if you have any of the above-mentioned conditions.

What Ingredients Does Synbiotic 365 Contain?

It is never wise to rely solely on marketing before purchasing a product. After all, it doesn’t take much in today’s day and age to make false claims. So, to really see if Synbiotic 365 is all that it claims to be, we’ll take a closer look at its ingredients.

We already know that the supplement contains a proprietary blend of vitamins, probiotics, and prebiotics. But knowing their exact composition is also necessary to figure out whether this supplement is really worth the hype.

Vitamin B-complex

synbiotic 365 vitamin blend
  • Vitamin B1 (Thiamin) 2.4 mg – 200%
  • Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) 2.6 mg – 200%
  • Vitamin B3 (Niacin) 32 mg – 200%
  • Vitamin B6 3.4 mg – 200%
  • Vitamin B9 800 mcg (480 mcg folic acid) – 200%
  • Vitamin B12 4.8 mcg – 1000%
  • Vitamin B7 (Biotin) 60 mcg – 200%
  • Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid) 10 mg – 200%

Vitamin B complex is made up of 8 of the most potent Vitamins in the Vitamin B family. Synbiotic 365 contains all of them and is a complete package on its own.

Why is Vitamin B Important?

Vitamin B deficiency is one of the most common deficiencies. Symptoms can vary in both severity and variety, depending on which vitamin from the Vitamin B complex is deficient and how low its levels are.

Although all vitamin deficiencies have adverse effects on the body, Vitamin B complex deficiencies result in the most debilitating ones. Some common symptoms that occur due to vitamin B deficiency are fatigue, mental confusion, anemia, fluctuations in mood, tingling sensation in the hands and feet, skin rashes, and compromised immunity.

Some groups, such as elderly patients or pregnant women, need larger than usual doses of Vitamin B to improve their overall health and prevent any adverse conditions that may arise from its deficiency.

The Vitamin B levels contained in Synbiotic 365 are higher than what the RDA recommends. As such you may only need such high quantities if you are deficient. Because this product contains such a high percentage of the daily value it is important to consult your doctor before trying.

Probiotic Blend

DID YOU KNOW? Probiotics are a group of good bacteria that reside in your gut and support digestion and immune functions. These bacteria are also known to reduce allergies, reduce bowel-related illnesses, and help in hormone regulations as well. Each strain of bacteria is different and plays a different yet vital role in keeping the gut healthy. Different strains can have different functions when it comes to gut regulation.

The probiotic strains contained in Synbiotic 365 are:

  • Lactobacillus Casei Lc-11
  • OPTI-BIOME Bacillus subtilis MB40
  • Lactobacillus gasseri BNR17
  • Bifidobacterium lactic BI-04
  • Lactobacillus paracasei Lpc-37
  • Streptococcus thermophilus St-21
  • Lactobacillus fermentum
  • Lactobacillus plantarum Lp-115
  • Saccharomyces boulardii
  • Lactobacillus reuteri
  • Bifidobacterium bifidum Db-06
  • Lactobacillus rhamnosus Lr-32
  • Lactobacillus salivarius Ls-33
  • Bifidobacterium longum BI-05
Lactobacillus Casei

Lactobacillus Casei is reportedly known to help provide relief in digestive symptoms.

A study was conducted on 70 individuals suffering from constipation. Those participants treated with a concoction containing 65 mL of Lactobacillus casei Shirota reported having significantly reduced symptoms while no such effect was noted in the placebo group.

In another study, a 97 ml concoction containing Lactobacillus casei and Lactobacillus bulgaricus, showed a reduced number of antibiotic-associated diarrhea cases when the drink was administered to hospitalized patients.

Lactobacillus Plantarum

Numerous studies have been conducted on the Lactobacillus Plantarum species, and their  Lp-115 bacterial strain has been thoroughly investigated.

According to these studies and tests conducted on laboratory models, the Lactobacillus Plantarum N14 bacterial strain reduced inflammation found in the intestinal cells. It also reduced rates of enzymes associated with heart disease among mice that were injected with L. Plantarum K8.

Lactobacillus Gasseri

Lactobacillus gasseri is another Lactobacillus strain that is known to improve digestion and decrease allergy levels. In one study, 200 ml of Lactobacillus Gasseri TMC0356 was administered to15 subjects over a span of 4-weeks.

This mixture resulted in the patients experiencing a decrease in the levels of allergy associated antibodies. On the other hand, subjects administered 109 CFU doses of L. gasseri OLL2716 reported improvement in their indigestion for three months.

Lactobacillus Salivarius

The probiotic strain Lactobacillus salivarius is thought to protect the body from harmful microbes. A study was conducted on 59 children that had an oral disease. They were treated with Lactobacillus salivarius, which resulted in a significant reduction in fungal and bacterial levels.

Bifidobacteria Genus

The lactis species of the Bifidobacteria genus is thought to reduce inflammation and also provide aid for diabetes management. In fact, Bifidum also shows promising results for addressing lung infections and constipation.

Bifidobacterium Longum

In contrast, the species longum species of Bifidobacterium is thought to be useful for the management of constipation, respiratory tract infections, and bowel disorders such as ulcerative colitis and IBS.

Both Bifidobacterium lactis and Bifidobacterium longum strains could prove helpful in providing allergy relief and immune support. Studies conducted on B. Longum CCUG 52486 in the laboratory model showed promising anti-inflammatory results, especially in the elderly population sample.

These results were later confirmed by trials conducted on human subjects, which proved that BB536 did indeed boost white blood cell count as well as antibody titers in the elderly.

Prebiotics

As mentioned before, prebiotics is an important part of supplements as well. They contain a bunch of great ingredients that provide nutritional support to the body and help to keep the gut flora healthy.

One of the prebiotics included in Synbiotic 365 supplements is fiber. Fiber is a specific kind of carbohydrate that is neither digested nor absorbed by the human body.

This may lead you to wonder why they’re even necessary in the first place. The answer to that is that though fiber, provides no nutritional support to the human body on its own, it is excellent for maintaining a healthy number of probiotic bacteria. Fiber serves as food for probiotic bacteria residing in the gut.

Also, just because fiber is not nutritionally dense, it does not mean it is not beneficial for the body. Fiber is essential for the body for several reasons.

Firstly, fiber expands when it is digested, and it absorbs water, filling up the gut and making you feel full faster and for a more extended period. It also regulates blood sugar levels, promotes peristalsis, which aids in healthy digestion, and also helps to reduce cholesterol and obesity levels.

Another essential prebiotic fructose based fiber in Synbiotic 365 is Inulin. In a 12 week randomized clinical trial conducted on obese adult individuals, 12 g/day of Inulin over four weeks resulted in lower levels of hunger, food consumption, and appetite.

Besides this, Inulin also resulted in an increased frequency of stools, softer stools, and increased levels of probiotics in adults that were constipated.

Are There Any Potential Side Effects?

Synbiotic 365 is generally considered to be safe. Vitamins, unless taken in very high quantities, generally do not cause any adverse effects as such since excess levels are easily flushed out by the body. However it is important to consult your doctor before trying.

The prebiotics also poses no threat to the human body. The levels of probiotics have been tested numerous times and are considered safe for consumption.

These supplements are Gluten-free, Dairy-free, GMO-free, and do not contain any nuts, eggs, or soy. They are, therefore, perfectly safe for consumption, even in people with food allergies.

However, before taking any supplements, you should always consult with a healthcare provider to ensure that the supplements do not cause any adverse effects. This is especially important if you are taking other drugs or have a compromised immune system.

Could This Be A Scam?

The ingredients also seem to be safe, however, although it is a proprietary blend, a little more information about the exact measurement of ingredients would’ve been helpful for comparison with other supplements on the market.

We did a little digging on United Naturals and found out they have an A rating from the BBB. They seem to be 100% legitimate and their company address details are as follows:

Address: 6105 Spirit St Unit 397, Pittsburgh, PA 15206-3175

You can also reach them by phone on (844) 794-7728.

In any case, the company offers a complete 60-day money-back guarantee, which just goes to show how confident they are in their product. Had there been any fraudulent activity involved, the company would be more careful with flaunting claims of 100% money-back guarantees.

Conclusion

All in all, United Naturals’ Synbiotic 365 supplement seems like a great product that could help improve your gut’s natural flora and overall health. All ingredients seem to be effective and work well together to improve your digestive system, immunity, health, and any vitamin deficiencies.

    1. Hi Jerry, great question. They have slightly different probiotic qualities so its difficult to compare. That being said Complete Probiotics is currently our highest rated probiotic in general.
