Programs

The Programs and Operations Department facilitates the development and implementation of all programs at the AMHPS. The AMHPS is collaborating with four agencies: the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC); Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR); U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Office of Minority Health of the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).

These collaborations provide the mechanism to assist the Association of Minority Health Professions Schools, Inc. (AMHPS) and its member institutions in improving the interaction between public health academicians and public health practitioners. In addition, they work toward enhancing the overall education and training of public health workers and future researchers.
